-Your pores are medium sized
-You have a smooth and even skin texture
-Your skin has good circulation and healthy color
-Your skin is sometimes dry on the cheeks
-You experience the shine on oily T zone (Nose and forehead)
Caring for combination skin is a balancing act: You need to moisturize the drier areas, typically the cheeks, while treating the oiliness of the oilier areas such as the forehead, nose, and chin (the so called T-Zone). But that does not mean you have to have tackle box of skin care product. Just few basic products will do the trick.
Cleansing:
If you T zone part is very oily, you can use tea tree cleansing cream
Moisturizing:
The last thing you want to do is make your already oily T zone even oilier. So use a moisturizer only where you need it on combination skin. That is usually the cheeks. If your under eye area is dry, use a cream specifically formulated for this delicate skin. Eye creams contain preservatives that keep them sterile and prevent eye infections.
Combination skin: The rules
Do?
oChoose cleansers formulated for combination skin; they are gentle on dry area, such as the cheeks, and tougher on oily cheeks, nose, and chin.
oApply moisturizer only where you need it, but slathering it on your T Zone may lead to breakouts.
oUse water based or oil free foundation.
Don?t?
oUse a different cleanser or moisturizer for different parts of your face- it?s s waste of time and money
oForget to use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 every day. Use a product formulated with out oil, if you like.
